Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has not been able to find even a single monkey catcher even when monkeys have been a trouble in the city by attacking citizens and entering houses seeking food.
Reports suggest that the civic body has no expertise in the area and has to rely on the random methods being used by locals to trap the monkeys. Some areas that have been badly affected by the monkey menace this year include Padmaraonagar, East and West Marredpally, Alwal, Sanathnagar, Kapra, Motinagar, Ameerpet, Uppal, Tarnaka, OsmaniaUniversity, L B Nagar and other areas.
